What Happens After You Contact Us

You reach out by quote form, live chat, email or phone. A member of our team asks about your book, the service you want and your goals. We talk online, by email, phone or video, wherever you live in the USA or abroad.

Then we send a written quote. It describes the work, the number of revision rounds, the timeline and anything priced separately. Nothing starts until you have read it and said yes.

If you are still comparing options, that is fine. You can ask us questions, request a different scope, or look at our starting prices first. We would rather you decide with full information than rush.

How a KD Prime Publishers project works

What is true on every project

  • The quote is free and carries no obligation
  • The scope, revision rounds and timeline are in writing before work starts

  • A confidentiality agreement is available on request, and ghostwriting clients are the sole named author

  • Refunds for work already started follow our refund policy

We do not guarantee sales, rankings, awards or reviews. We stand behind the quality of the work and the clarity of the agreement.

Who You Will Talk To

Illustration for Who You Will Talk To

You get a single point of contact for your project. They explain the quote, relay your feedback to the writer, editor or designer, and tell you where things stand. You do not have to chase several people.

For creative services, such as writing or illustration, we match the project to a specialist in your genre or format. Which specialist depends on the project, and your quote tells you what to expect.

We work with first-time authors and with experienced ones. If you are new to publishing, we explain each step in plain language. If you already know what you want, we keep things short and work to your instructions.

Services We Can Combine

Many authors need more than one service. A typical path runs through editing, proofreading, cover design, formatting and publishing, followed by marketing. Others start earlier, with ghostwriting or memoir writing.

You can book services one at a time or as a bundle. If you bundle, we scope the whole project together so the pieces fit, for example matching the trim size of the cover and the interior.

A Project From Start to Finish

Every service has its own details, but most projects follow the same four stages.

Brief and Quote

We learn about your book, your goals and your budget, then send a written quote with scope, revision rounds and timeline.

Production

Your specialist does the work. For writing projects, you approve an outline first and review chapters in batches. For design, you review concepts first.

Review and Revisions

You give feedback in the rounds stated in your quote. We apply it and send updated files or chapters for your approval.

Final Delivery

After your approval and full payment, you receive the final files and own the finished work. Publishing and marketing follow if you booked them.

Confidentiality and Credit

Ghostwriting is private by design. We sign a confidentiality agreement on request, share your project only with the team assigned to it, and you are named as the sole author of your book.

For other services, such as covers or editing, you stay in control of what is shared. If you want an NDA before sending a manuscript, ask for one when you request your quote.

What We Do Not Promise

We cannot promise that a book will sell, rank, win awards or earn reviews. Nobody can. Be cautious about any company that does. What we promise is clear scope, honest communication and work that follows your quote.

For background on your rights as an author, see the U.S. Copyright Office registration guide and the work made for hire circular. The Authors Guild also publishes guidance for authors reviewing contracts.

Common questions about how our projects run.

Yes. A quote is free and carries no obligation. It states the scope, number of revision rounds and timeline in writing, so you can compare it with other companies.

They happen online by email, phone or video, wherever you live. You can ask questions, share your manuscript details and get advice on which services you actually need.

You do. You keep your copyright and royalties, and you own the finished work once the project is paid in full. See our terms and conditions for the full wording.

Yes, on request. We recommend it for ghostwriting and for any manuscript you have not published. Ask for it when you request your quote.

The number of revision rounds is stated in your quote and differs by service. Changes beyond the agreed scope are quoted separately, so you will always know before extra costs apply.

It depends on the service and the size of the project. We write the timeline into your quote instead of promising a number on the phone, so you can plan around it.

Our refund policy explains what happens to payments for work already started. Please read it before you approve a quote.

No. We do not guarantee sales, rankings, awards or reviews, and you should be careful with anyone who does. We stand behind the work and the written agreement.
